Learn How to Tell Your Story

Tell a Compelling Story to Any Audience

This eight-week online course will teach you the nuts and bolts of engaging storytelling to any audience.

Learning to tell your story in a compelling way will serve you well whether interviewing for a job, internship, or undergraduate or graduate admissions, pitching your business to investors, delivering arguments in court, or any number of other scenarios where you’ll be appealing to an audience. To be successful as a storyteller, you need to connect with your listeners to make an impact.

You’ll learn:

  • how to craft an experience that opens people's minds and pierces their hearts, and
  • explore the techniques that will let you overcome any fear of public speaking, powerfully tell your story, and
  • make a lasting impact on your audience.

The Hero's Journey is an approach to storytelling for a specific purpose: to make the biggest intellectual and emotional impact on any audience. Utilizing pathos, ethos, and logos, with the classic Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey cycle, we will explore storytelling techniques that make the speaker the hero of their own story, influencing your audience and achieving your goals.
